Passionate about ecology, sustainable development, solidarity and the cultures of the world as well as information technologies, FRANÇOIS BORDES is founder and president of the non-profit organisation Humanvillage. With a degree in polytechnic engineering François continued his career as counselor for the Cabinet of the Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development. Currently, he works as the director for sustainable development at Cap Gemini, successfully combining his professional life and his social engagement. A graduate of ENSAE (Paris Graduate School of Economics, Statistics and Finance), former consultant of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and chief executive officer THIERRY ISSACHAR worked for three years as council director and business development manager for the communication agency Alerte Orange. He is in particular in charge of the French Sustainable Development Week and the European Mobility Week for the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development. Since 2007 Thierry has been working as the director of Humanvillage.
With a degree from the Institute of Political Studies in Toulouse and a Masters in "Communication, Humanitarian Action and Solidarity", CHARLINE ALZIAL is currently working as the Project Manager of Humanvillage. After various professional and international experiences in corporate communication (Press and Communication Office of the French Embassy in South Africa and the French Consulate New York), Charline chose to use her skills in the field of sustainable development and international solidarity.
MIKE METZ has been commited to the common good for more than 10 years. He considers himself as someone living an everyday life of "joyful simplicity", rather than "sustainable development". He is convinced that digital media and the internet can offer solutions to questions of sustainable development and the autonomy of NGOs, by connecting them with other media and actions. Within Humanvillage, Mike is in charge of the technological strategy and the roadmap of community tools.
Her career path has provided DOMINIQUE BELUD with various experiences in business communication, for advertisers and for a consultant agency. Passionate about information technologies and the internet, Dominique is advancing towards the editorial website manager. Through her work with Humanvillage, Dominique engages herself in the field of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility in a meaningful way.
CECILE MARTIN-PHIPPS works since 2007 at the International Action Directorate of ADEME (Environment and Energy Management Agency). After graduating from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris with a degree in Public Administration, Cécile worked from 2005 to 2007 at the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ecology and Sustainable Development, Serge Lepeltier et Nelly Olin.
MARIE-CLAUDE POELMAN-FARGEOT works as the director of information systems at Nature et Découvertes. Strongly engaged in the nonprofit sector, Marie-Claude is – apart from her engagement at Humanvillage – member of a charity that supports and promotes childhood education in Mali, Malinia. Passionate about traveling, Marie-Claude has traveled all over the world and loves meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Passionate about Open Source and ecology, SANDRINE GENNARI is making her career working for the company Makina Corpus, which provides their technical services for the maintenance of the Humanvillage website.
